A fine needle delivers an electrical current directly to the hair follicle, targeting the structures responsible for hair growth. This technology is independent of hair color and is therefore also suitable for light, gray, or white hair, which may not respond to light based technologies such as IPL or laser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How the Treatment Works<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

During needle epilation, each hair is treated individually. A sterile, ultra fine needle is guided along the hair shaft to the hair follicle. A brief electrical impulse is then delivered to target the follicle and inhibit further hair growth. The procedure requires precision and experience, making it particularly suitable for small or detailed areas, such as the face or areas with isolated hair growth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Why Does Hair Grow Back?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Hair can grow back because the structures responsible for hair growth remain active. As long as these structures continue to function, individual hairs can grow again. Needle epilation uses a targeted electrical current to disrupt this process and reduce the ability of the treated follicle to produce new hair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Areas of Application<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Needle epilation is suitable for almost all areas of the body because each hair is treated individually. It can be particularly useful for smaller areas such as the upper lip, chin, or chest. Treatment can also be performed on tattooed skin because the needle is inserted directly into the hair follicle without targeting the surrounding pigment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Before Treatment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For the hairs to be visible during needle epilation, they should be approximately 2 to 3 millimetres long. Waxing, epilating, or plucking should be avoided for at least four weeks before the appointment so that the hair follicle remains intact. It is also important that the hairs are in an active growth phase, which is why several sessions are generally required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After Treatment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The skin may be temporarily sensitive following needle epilation. For approximately 72 hours, you should therefore avoid tanning beds, saunas, and sunbathing. Mild redness is normal and usually subsides quickly. If your skin shows a stronger reaction, our professional staff are available to assess the treated area.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
